The new Conference and Educational Centre, housed in the transformed Grade II listed barn, is now available for booking.
After the completion, this summer, of the refurbishment and transformation of the 17th Century Grade II listed barn into a newly, modern Conference and Educational Centre, we are now taking bookings, from groups or individuals, for the use of the main hall with integral kitchen, and for other flexible meeting areas.
The restructuring and refurbishment of the traditional barn was carried out using state of the art environmental technologies together with traditional construction methods and materials: from ground source heating and solar panels to sheep’s wool insulation and rainwater harvesting.
The Conference Centre is providing a much needed facility at a reasonable price, not only in the local area, but for organizations throughout the South of England.
The Conference Centre will also offer a welcome space for many of The Organic Research Centre's partners and other voluntary groups to use.
The conference area can accommodate different group sizes and has an integral kitchen, which will allow for catering and self catering during events.
